The Stoneham Public Schools Foundation’s (SPSF) Annual Appeal is under way and we would like to have some fun with a contest to see how much we can raise to support our efforts in the coming year. We have partnered with Firstgiving to give us the ability to have a contest in which all the schools will be rewarded, if we hit the first goal.

The SPSF has partnered with Firstgiving to conduct an online fundraising campaign. Firstgiving allows us to setup teams so we can not only reward all the schools for their help but provide Bonus rewards for the top school or grade depending on the fundraiser being conducted. Watch for the first campaign to get under to see how you can participate in helping your school earn a bonus reward.

The SPSF is preparing to launch our first online fundraising campaign.  Later this week we will be posting a link,  to help get people started, along with some photos and banners for people to use on their page.  We will also be announcing the rewards the schools will be able to earn along with some prizes for the top fundraising groups and individuals from the community.Please check back for updates and to see how you can help the SPSF hit our goals.

The SPSF has started working closely with the Technology Dept. to see how we can further help improve the use of technology in the Stoneham School System.  Over the past years  we have been able to help secure donations of new monitors, printers, computers and document cameras for the schools.
